Alla sua 83ª edizione, la cerimonia dei Golden Globes celebra i protagonisti del grande e piccolo schermo – e per la prima volta anche del mondo podcast. A dominare sono “Una battaglia dopo l’altra” e la miniserie “Adolescence”, ma non mancano colpi di scena, volti noti e debutti sorprendenti.

Nella notte italiana tra domenica 11 e lunedì 12 gennaio 2026, il Beverly Hilton Hotel di Los Angeles ha ospitato l’83ª edizione dei Golden Globes, i prestigiosi premi assegnati dalla Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) per il meglio del cinema, della televisione e, da quest’anno, anche del mondo dei podcast.

A condurre la serata è tornata per la seconda volta la stand-up comedian Nikki Glaser, che ha saputo mescolare ironia e ritmo incalzante. Sul palco anche numerose celebrità per introdurre e premiare i vincitori, tra cui Amanda Seyfried e Zoë Kravitz, in una cerimonia che ha alternato momenti glamour ad attimi di vera emozione.

Il cinema applaude Paul Thomas Anderson, Chloé Zhao e KPop Demon Hunters

Tra i film protagonisti della serata spicca “Una battaglia dopo l’altra” di Paul Thomas Anderson, che si è aggiudicato ben quattro premi:

• Miglior film musical o commedia

• Miglior regia (Paul Thomas Anderson)

• Miglior sceneggiatura

• Miglior attrice non protagonista (Teyana Taylor)

Due premi anche per “Hamnet – Nel nome del figlio” di Chloé Zhao, che si è imposto come Miglior film drammatico e ha visto Jessie Buckley premiata come Miglior attrice protagonista.

Grande riconoscimento per l’animazione sudcoreana con “KPop Demon Hunters”, che ha conquistato il premio come Miglior film d’animazione e Miglior canzone originale con Golden.

Successo anche per il film brasiliano “L’agente segreto” di Kleber Mendonça Filho, vincitore come Miglior film non in lingua inglese e per la performance drammatica di Walter Moura.

Tra le pellicole premiate anche “I peccatori” di Ryan Coogler, che ha conquistato Miglior colonna sonora (firmata da Ludwig Göransson) e Miglior risultato al botteghino.

Nel musical e commedia spiccano Timothée Chalamet, vincitore come Miglior attore protagonista per Marty Supreme, e Rose Byrne, premiata per If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. Stellan Skarsgård è stato invece riconosciuto come Miglior attore non protagonista per Sentimental Value.

La tv incorona Adolescence e conferma The Pitt e The Studio

Sul fronte televisivo, il grande vincitore è la miniserie “Adolescence”, che ha fatto incetta di premi:

• Miglior miniserie, serie antologica o film per la tv

• Miglior attore in una miniserie (Stephen Graham)

• Miglior attrice non protagonista (Erin Doherty)

• Miglior attore non protagonista (Owen Cooper)

Tra le serie in corso, a brillare è il drama “The Pitt”, Miglior serie tv drammatica, con Noah Wyle premiato come Miglior attore protagonista. Nella categoria musical o commedia, la vittoria è andata a “The Studio”, con Seth Rogen protagonista.

Altri volti noti del panorama seriale si sono distinti con performance magistrali:

Podcast: il nuovo arrivato

Tra le novità più interessanti dell’edizione 2026, l’introduzione della categoria Podcast, a conferma del crescente impatto narrativo e culturale di questo mezzo. Anche se i premi assegnati sono stati solo due, la mossa apre le porte a una futura espansione, riconoscendo la forza dello storytelling audio nel panorama dell’intrattenimento.
